Event details
(Applies to all scheduled tournaments unless otherwise specified.)
Matches use clocks set at 2 minutes for each match point, plus a 12-second delay. Bring a board, a set, and a clock if you have them.
| Bracket | Match | Clock |
|---|---|---|
| Winner’s | 7 points | 14:00 + 12s delay |
| Consolation | 5 points | 10:00 + 12s delay |
| Final | 7 points | One match, winner takes it |
- The final is one 7-point match between the winner’s-bracket champion and the consolation champion.
- The consolation winner does not have to win twice. They have already played more matches, and it keeps the day moving.
- We pay 100% of the entries. Prize amounts depend on the field. First, second, and third place are paid.
- How late we go depends on the draw — if you are still alive, we could be there into the evening.
